There is no place in the world where poverty does not exist. Name a place and start there and you will find stratification's relevant to that particular country. Any country. The U.S.? Africa? Where would you like to start? Latin America? Asia? Anywhere where people have not or can not take advantage of the advances available.

Every society has poverty. But I suppose you are meaning a whole country in general? How about Somalia, Haiti, and Rwanda to get you started? I would suggest checking where the Red Cross has most of it's resources.

If you are talking about relative poverty: every country in the world as measured by their national poverty line of income.
If you are talking about extreme poverty (as per U.N. less than 1 dollar/day) mainly sub-saharan Africa, although it also exists in some Asian countries and in the Americas (see link below).

Poverty is occurring in every con try in the world. Some counties have a more sever case of it, where people are so destitute it makes poverty in developed countries look like they are millionaires.

Look around you, in the cities in the US,Canada any industrialized country, on indian reservations, subharan africa, palestine, indonesia, asia, south america, europe, australia. Open your eyes and look around you, look at the news, read news magazines, read newspapers online and offline.

I think that it is basically everywhere mostly in inner cities, and out side of our country in other countries that dont have as much food and money as we do in the united states
