Australia always does well at the Summer Olympics. Additionally, Australia always severely kicks the asses of the Canadians, the British, the Kiwis, the Indians and everyone else at the Commonwealth Games.

Aussies are top-notch rugby & cricket players; they are some of the world's best golfers. I even hear there are a few Australians playing pro baseball in the States.

I'm from Canada, and I dread the day that Aussies take an interest in (ice) hockey and curling, because if they do, I guarantee you that they'll kick our asses at those sports, too!!

Australia has a one of the greatest economy's in the world. They have an okay population of around 20 million. Australia has a big advantage over england and the US though. There is plenty of room in the average Australian backyard, unlike the average english or American. Besides, America would be as good as us if they bothered to platy the descent sports.

there are 3 main reasons. 1 is there are better facilities than in England where I am from. 2 is there are better coaches than in England and 3 they are competitive. In England competitivness ois discouraged whereas in Australia it is encouraged. Take for example my old primary school on sportsday. To avoid any hurt feelings when children came last, the whole class was given praise and treated as a winner. If you are treated as a success when you have failed especially at such a young age,you are lead to believe that that is acceptable. These are just some of the reasons why we lost the ashes 5-0

I think Australia does well because for them, and for many countries, sport is a way of expressing their self-esteem, and saying to the world "hey we matter".

There is also the argument that success breeds success, so as one generation of sports stars are successful, kids want to follow in their footsteps.

Their climate is also conducive to many sports - particularly swimming, as so many people live very close to the sea.

Finally, their Government has invested in facilities - most of the major sports have acadamies to develop the next generation of superstars.

there's a call for a second NRL crew in Brisbane. do not recognize if there's a waiting record for Broncos' tickets or no longer notwithstanding it seems there will be a strong probability for a second crew. If no longer correct contained in the city then contained in the suburbs. i'm effective there might want to be sufficient economic backing contained in the area. no longer effective the position they could play their suits at at the same time as construction their own park. The Broncos have continuously had very strong crowds or close to ability for the video games I actually have considered.
