I think this is illegal, but you can try Limewire. Or there are also certain websites providing free music downloads legally, you could google them, unfortunately I don't know any to recommend

Rhapsody and eMusic. Those are the only legal ones I know. They don't have "fresh" music and you can only listen to 25 or 50 or something. It all comes down to ethics. You can either get a few decent songs or buy them. Downloading from p2p services is illegal and is not an option so don't do it.
