a liquid. it doesn't flow like a typical liquid but its not rigid and it still takes the shape of its container.

I'd say it's a liquid because of the properties of a liquid. Solids can't change shape to fit their container, whereas yogurt can, therefore it's a liquid.

As someone in the food industry I can say it is definitely a liquid.
Additionally, a liquid is more generally known as a fluid whose shape is determined by the container it fills. Yogurt will take the shape of whatever container it is put in; hence it is a liquid.
