cause my cuzin and this guy have been together for almost a year and she got pregnant and she dont want him to get locked up n my cuzin mom is very strict and i am scared for my cuzinz boyfriend may will get lock up? what'z the worst that can happen i need to help her!

It depends on the law in your state; in some states, if the older partner is no older than 2 or 3 years more than the younger one, it's not statutory rape. However, the laws vary GREATLY from state to state; check the link below for the text of the laws in the various states.

I know exactlly what you are going through. The same thing happened to my best friend... only he was 19 and she was 14. She got pregnant and her mom found out and right now his is sitten in jail. He got 4 years in jail for statutory rape even though he didn't rape her. I thought that was the worst thing that could happen but according to his lawyer, that was nothing. So I don't know what to tell you. But I do wish you good luck talking to your cuzin.

First of all...it's illegal for a 17 year old to be having sexual relations with a 14 year old, so he very well could be locked up. Your cousin should go to church..that would help her...I'm not saying it in a mean way...I really do believe that it would help her. But please...if she's thinking of abortion try to convince her not to.

however, I think since he is under 18 they can't really lock him up, Unless its in one of those states where that is the law.

The worse that can happen is that he gets sent to jail. Technically its statutory rape and if her mom presses charges [which is possible] he could go to jail. For a long time. If she doesn't want her mom to know, Planned Parenthood can give her an abortion without her mom knowing, she just needs a ride to and fro, and money. I forgot how much. I hope everything works out.

the worst that could happen is her mom could press charges and he would probably go to jail for a while but i don't know how long. for the baby's sake and her daughter's sake i hope the mother will try and keep the family together.(that's if the guy is descent)

both minors and close in age, so i in my opinion do not see a difficulty with it. That stated, "reviews" in this count number mean no longer some thing. You and your boyfriend want to understand the community regulations. surprisingly the definition of statutory rape on your area. because even if socially ideal or no longer, some places have regulations with various ranges depending on +/- age transformations (even if both are minors). strong success!

Are you sure its your cousin or you? Sounds like one of those "my friend" questions.
I am not sure. I think he may have needed her parental permission. But because he's minor too, he may be okay.
Is she planning on going through with the pregnancy? If so she needs pre natal care etc-vitamins.

It depends on the parents. They can have him locked up for stagetory rape (sp?). He will also be on the sex offenders list as well.
There is nothing you can do to help the situation. just support her and her baby.
