great question...l think no...for instance grandad may like..older music than dad...and mum will have her tastes too...so a style of music can define a generation..more than an individual....also you may like classical...it may be that you do not know this yet...ie you have not arrived at that particulat genre...how ever l think you can say that certain people like certain types of music for a reason....and music and visual images do go hand in hand so we can think of times and places and people all through music....l have favourites that do this..they may not be even great songs..but its not for the song that l like them.

not really because i have a friend that is right into head banging music but just found out recently he also listens to classical music

I don't think so.
I listen to most types of music as I love all different kinds, so if people judged me one one song then they would probably judge me wrong.

No people listen to music for enjoyment, that why they say first impressions mater. its more on the way you look, your hair, your cloths, conversation etc.....

i think so. because music affects how people act and think. and people are more likely to be drawn to music they can relate to. so ya, i'd say you can.
