I too am 39 weeks pregnant and i asked the same question at my appointment the other day. I was told that because the baby has moved down, i won't be able to feel as much movement as before. Also, because baby is full term, he/she hasn't got any room to move. You should still feel some movement though. All the best xxx

My wife is 36wks pregnant with our 3rd baby and she is exactly the same as you so please try not to worry although any concerns can be answered by your gp or midwife. As your getting very close to labour and your due date, the baby has less room left in your tummy and so movement will decrease but if you have no movement at all for 12-24hrs then consult your hospital asap. I wish you luck and am sure you will have a lovely healthy baby.

yes this is because quite often it has moved into th edelivery position so there is not muh room to move also the baby is spending the last few weeks storing energy for tye birth and so it conserves energy by sleeping dont worry about it i think your baby will be her VERY soon if it is not mopving much and you are 39 weeks, Good Luck !!!

There isn't any room for the baby to move in there!! Your assumption is totally correct.
Aside from the occasion kick or punch from your baby, you won't feel much unless you are constantly still and trying to look for movement.

Not neccessarily. The baby naturally slows down in the late weeks, simply because there is no more room for them to move.

I'm not sure about that but I do know that it's normal to feel less movement when heavily pregnant as baby has less room to move about though x

Once you get that far, the baby has pretty much run out of room to move, so you won't feel as many movements. If they stop COMPLETELY, though, call your doctor and get to the hospital ASAP.

It is absolutely normal for your baby to slow down, it's gotten really cramped in there and movements are more difficult. Check the sources.
