Ok, every generation has a band, or several, that become legends. some examples are guns 'n roses, the beatles, and queen and u2. well my question is, who is the epic band for this generation? is it green day, my chemical romance, red hot chili peppers or some other band that's out there? remember, give your reason for picking your band. thanks and God bless you all

not a band..but I can see Drake Bell being the next Beatle. hes already pretty popular and the Beatles are his main idol
yeah i can picture it...he did an interview on i guess like a radio station and the guys on there said how awesome he is and how much hes so much like the Beatles yet original. his songs are original but they have a Beatles feel to them. Drake has said people of all ages have enjoyed his music..hes seen little kids, teenagers and even grandmas at his concert having a good time.
noone will ever be as popular and legendary as the Beatles..but i think Drake comes pretty darn close.

RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS because they are known throughout the world for performing in socks, Dani California and Under the Bridge, and are great legends!! Oh and ANTHONY IS GOD!!

I've got strong hopes on Snow Patrol. Wouldn't you say the Chili's have hit the point of being an epic band? If not don't think they ever will their recent stuff in my opinion is quite poor.

Green Day because their lyrics really touch me and I can relate to a lot of what they say. Also, John Mayer has a good chance of becoming a legend like Bob Dylan in my opinion.

Tool, all the way!
They are a Progressive Rock/ Alt. Metal band.
Their music is just so different, and their lyrics are probably some of the deepest and most complex out there. Their videos are a complete head trip. They sound like no one else.
Some of my favorite Tool songs are "Vicarious", "Sober" and "Schism"

my only hopes is probably the bands that started in the 90's because bands that started "today" Sucks unless its like tool or system of a down or rhcp
