My BF brought me to work at 9:00 this morning. He hung around almost 5 hours, just surfing the Net and generally being underfoot. Then he finally said he was going home about two hours ago, and left. Keep in mind I am stuck here without a car now. I just called him to say hi and see what he was doing, thinking maybe he could bring me something to eat. He said he had just left Chili's, where he had a burger and a few beers, and he was on his way home, where he was going to take a nap.

Um....gee, thanks for taking MY CAR and going out to eat and not even BOTHERING to call and ask if I wanted anything to eat!

I have to sit here for THREE MORE HOURS without anything to eat, you asshole!

my friend, I believe you need a different boyfriend. There are nice guys out there, maybe you should try to find one. Any guy who takes your car, goes somewhere like Chili's without you, and doesn't offer to bring you food, deserves to lose that soft spot he's sitting in. Where I come from, we call a guy like that 'a waste of human skin and hair'. In other words, useless. If he doesn't care enough about you to take care of such a simple need, he surely doesn't need to be driving your car. And Chilis is not somewhere guys go - just for a burger and beers. They go there alone to flirt with waitresses. This I have seen and experienced. Think hard about this. You deserve better.

To me it sounds like the poor guy can't do anything right, in your eyes. First, you complain that he is "underfoot" when he was there, then you complain because he left. It is his day off, so why get mad that he is relaxing. If you didn't want him to have your car, why did you lend it to him?

If I am missing the point, I apologize, but I don't see where he really did anything wrong.

Well when you get home and he is well rested from his nap. Make sure you tell him that since he had such a wonderful day using everything of yours--You are so not going to put out tonight--You already given him pleasure.

all i can say to this is...it would be the first & last time he did it to me. and
he doesn't sound like a sure thing...i believe if he truly loved & cared for you, he would have brought u something to eat, and found a friend to follow him to drop ur car back off to you them went home and slept...in my personal opinion, HE HAVE TO GO...

Worse than that he's driving under the influence and who's car will be impounded and who's insurance will go up.

Of course it would bother me. WHY is he driving YOUR car anyway? Does he not have one of his own? If not, then that's what you get for dating a LOSER.
