Update your scans in standered windows run all virus scans in safe mode. To do so Restart your computer and just before windows screen comes up press f8 over and over untill you get a little menu, select safe mode with networking, use your anti virus. After that goto bitdefender.com and run their Online scanner.

Is this the only time that your system reboots? If not,then you already have a potential virus.To be sure,I would recommend that you reboot your computer and enter Safe Mode,then run your virus scan from there.

Well could we have some more information such as what anti-virus you are using?

The main reason will be that you do not have enough RAM (Memory) for the scan to operate.
You should consider upgrading your RAM.

The anti-virus you are using may be corrupt... try to re-install it.

who is your virus scan provider? If the problem persists you may want to back-up your data and preform a system wipe, clearing the hard drive and resetting it to the factory defaults
