My boss approached me back a couple of months ago to have sexx with him, and I turned him down (in his words rejected him and hurt his ego). He hasnt stopped, and it gets worse if he comes back from lunch after he has been drinking. I have about 20 emails that can prove what I am saying. I also have emails telling me he had no problems with my performance. Well last friday I went in to work and he fired me that morning, and really didnt give me a reason. Everyone I know has known what was going on at my work, and now that he has fired me they are all telling me I have a great case. Does anyone think I do, I mean would it be worth my time to pursue this legally?

Ok let me clear it up that it is a small company and my boss is the son of the owner. Also, I did complain to him (and i have that in emails as well) that it needed to stop. He would be really mean to me when he was sober, and then he would come back drunk and either harass me or be mean to me again if I didnt respond the way he was wanting me to.

Take those emails to a good lawyer and tell him exactly what happened.Make sure that you don't exagerate anything. Or take this information to your local labor board..He has broken the law........

You could... but it would be difficult to 'prove'. If he asked once and was rejected, that would be wrong but not harassment. If he asked 5 times you could've complained then.. but you didn't you allowed it to keep on going. If he's been doing this for months it is likely that it could be seen as a consensual situation, inappropriate but not illegal. Now if you can prove that you got fired for not 'putting up' with it that's another story.

I am assuming you are female...and if so, men like these think that you are less equal then them and believe that you wouldn't have the inpowerment to take charge and speak up for yourselve. So by you letting him get away with this you are letting him do this to another weaker female later down the road. Step up and take him down.

If you have the means to do so, yes pursue it. You could go to his supervisor. IF your job was made redundant you may not have a leg to stand on. You could also go to the labor board and file a complaint with them.

invest in a personal tape recorder, and have any and all conversations with him recorded. hide it in your pocket, skirt, purse...etc, just be sure to push record before he comes over to talk to you, or if you have to go in his office to talk with him. if you get him on tape, he will be in deep crap!!!!
