wall and won't look at me or talk to me and I have no idea why. I asked her if I had offended her in any way, but she just let out a laugh and said no. I talk to the office manager and she said that she has worked with her before in another workplace and she said that she has done that before, and also to the girl before me. THe girl before me was a little off, but this total stonewall icy treatment sent her over the edge and she lost her temper at this stony b**** and got fired. It is really irritating and I think she is going to try and get me fired, too.

Some people who have been badly hurt, are very lonely on one hand, but have a desperate fear of relationships on the other hand. It is possible she was naturally drawn to friendliness, but as she felt the relationship getting friendlier, she suddenly shied away, and perhaps doesn't know why herself. You could just ignore her, or you could decide to keep on being friendly, knowing that she will not be friendly back to you - but some day, when she knows she needs a friend, she might just end up turning to you.

Major idea behind this:
The way others treat you usually has little to do with you.
If she's like this, then she's just like this.
Don't take it personally, whatever you do.
Try a little compassion from a distance:
"May this person heal from whatever makes her heart so cold. I will leave her in the hands of Fate, and not come near the poison. Still, may she be flushed of it and made well."
It won't help her, maybe, but it'll change the animosity that can fuel a fire!
And I mean, fire!

She's playing a power game, ignore her or get another job. She's a manipulator. Watch out for the office manager too. Keep your mouth shut and your temper in check.

i think you should fight fire, with fire. or should i say fight ice, with ice. it's up to you . Don't let her get u fired. she's a hater wondering from job to job spreading her poison.. I've seen her kind before. a waste of flesh and blood. She's evil. Ignore her .. say nothing to her ever. If she says something to you, just look at her and smile. If she asks you a direct question, answer her and walk away. I'm on your side. tell yourself, your stonger and smarther than she is. just smile, and carry on.

If you know it's her shtick, don't play into it. The bosses let her get away with it, why?
