I like using Intuit's TurboTax program. Yes, it costs money, but it guides you through all the aspects of filing a tax return. Also try looking for local VITA program in your area. They file taxes for low income, elderly and disabled citizens for free.

The first time filing can be stressful. the irs website is below. i also recommend that you consider purchasing taxcut to do your taxes the first time. it is really easy and straightforward. in the alternative, you might want to consider taking your stuff to H&R Block.
