Even a blood test can't tell you just yet, Dr.'s blood test can measure HCG as early as 6-8 days after ovulation, and the average woman ovulates between days 11-14. There is absolutely no way to tell yet. Breasts being sore would actually be more of an indicator of regular period hormones, since they won't be affected by a pregnancy yet, it's too soon. When I researched, said chance was only 20% chance of conception in a month where sex happened during fertile time. There might be some spotting when the egg actually implanted into the uterus, but not always. That soon pregnancy's affect on your body isn't measureable by you or anyone else yet. Unfortunately, you will absolutely have to wait at least a few more days (try a week) and then you could schedule an appointment for a blood test to determine whether you are or aren't. Sorry I don't have anything better, but the truth of the matter is there's no definite way to say one way or the other until then.

It's to soon to tell, but you can go to the doctor and have a blood test done and find out a week earlier than you would with a HPT. I would do that (I'm trying to conceive too), but I'm so afraid of needles it's not even funny.
You do have a 1 in 4 chance of becoming pregnant each cycle if your trying and between 18 and 29 years old.
A lot of women have breast soreness/ tenderness for up to 3 or4 days after ovulation and then it fades away... and comes back (sometimes) if you are pregnant.
You really can't look for any TRUE pregnancy symptoms until about 8-10 days past ovulation. This is because implantation takes place 8-10 days after ovulation (on average). When implantation takes place your body starts producing the pregnancy horomone (hCG). This horomone is what's going to throw your body out of whack causing you to have all sorts of symptoms. Usually women don't start having noticeable symptoms until it's about time for their period to start, but some start having symptoms as early as 8 days past ovulation.
With my first pregnancy, my first symptom was breast soreness that didn't start until the day after my period was due. And after that I just started feeling exhausted and really hungry.
An AWESOME site for you to check out for early pregnancy symptoms that women write about is www.twoweekwait.com . It's great!
You have a good chance of being pregnant, especially if you're younger and have no medical problems and aren't just coming off the BC pill.
I hope this helps!!!! Good luck! ***Baby dust toyou***

Well, first of all, I don't know where you read the 1 in 4 chance thing, but if you have sex within 3 days of your ovulation date, you will most likely get pregnant. (The 1 in 4 statistic probably comes from people mis-calculating when they ovulate.)
Yes, I think you should be prepared for the chance that you may be pregnant. You had sex right during your expected time of ovulation. I'm not sure your breasts being sore is necessarily you being pregnant--especially since you get it every month.
Giving it to you straight: you had sex during your peak fertility time. If you and your partner are healthy, you will probably get pregnant.
So, congrats!

It's definitely too early. Some people never get sore breasts during pregnancy. Even at 6 weeks, you probably won't feel anything.
Best of luck.

My boobs hurt way before my period was due. But they don't normally hurt. If you sit around and hope and hope, you'll tell yourself that every little pinch, pain and funny feeling means you're pregnant.
Really, the only thing to do is wait and see. You can take a First Response test 5 days before your period is due, if that helps.
