Sorry, I only know from experience about Mary Kay. I know from research about Avon, Arbonne and Mary Kay and after researching all 3 went with Mary Kay. I have searched for years for companies that offer work from home options and haven't had much luck. I frequently click on sites from Yahoo answers, but never really see anything that I trust. But, hopefully, you will have better luck than me! For now, I really love doing Mary Kay and make great money, but if you are looking for something different than that, then I don't know much.

Avon is a wonderful business with a great earning structure. There are many ways to make money with Avon. Leadership to build a residual income, Beauty Advisor, LABC, fundraisers, the sky's the limit. It is family friendly and has been around for over 100 years and has a great repetition for quality products. It is only $10 to start your business and offers 50% profits to new representatives. Avon also offers health, dental and life insurance to all representatives at a resonable rate. Avon has a 401 K for all reps with no minimum deposits, scholarships and sales clubs with incentives. There is a lot of extra bonuses and trips and recognition for the representative that works there business. Avon, is not get rich quick it is hard work if you want to make great money but it is a solid business. I love the Avon business and it has allowed me to have a flexible schedule to meet my 6 year old daughters needs. You will hear of a lot of people who claim to have found this work and are making a fortune. The only way they really make money is by getting others to pay them to find work - not by actual work. There are data entry jobs available, but they are generally only available very locally. The pace of business today prohibits the type of data entry you remember from years back. However, there are always businesses which need to take analog data (maybe handwritten job applications, for example) and turn them into computer entries. Even with optical character recognition, there is still a need to data enter or verify what the system read. Occasionally, this work can be done from home once you've proven yourself with the employer. Look for evening shifts for data entry (often found thru temp agencies) and once you've built a reputation, see if their servers can be accessed remotely so you could work from home. I think more and more of these jobs will be done at home, but they will extremely short time-lines, what comes in today needs to be in the system tonight, for example, with none of the flexibility you remember. Try Primerica Financial Services at Primerica.com. If you have the extra time and if you like helping other people and in doing so make money on the side, check it out. If it's for you, you'll know, and if it's not, you lose nothing but you learn a lot.

I have a great career that I do from home. No selling involved. It is in the health care industry and it involves helping others. I really enjoy it and it is an awsome company.
