Step 1. As when anything is not running well (car, dinner preparation, dating) it's sometimes best to get an objective assessment of the situation from someone else who know's your life.. Best a friend who knows you and can tally all the things that might be going on in your life, that you dismiss as trivial, which, when accumulated, can really be the cause of your malaise.
2) If that doesn't work, check with your doctor. There are others far more expert here who can comment on how changes in diet, absense of sun during the winter, hormones at a certain age, can all play with your emotions.
3) If that doesn't suit you.........go shopping!

I feel you!
Sometimes I feel the same way.
I take Zoloft on the regular, but sometimes (not often, just sometimes...maybe once or twice yearly), I don't feel as if the meds are working!
What do I do when I feel stretched and stressed?
I read more scripture and I pray more.
That's all I can do and that's the only defense I really have!

Yes, I feel like I've been hit by a bus and a semi. It sucks. If you've been really stressed out lately, maybe you should go out and have some fun. It might help.

the correct verb would be "felt", don't know how I made it out but I have never felt as crappy as I did 2 years ago (wanted to commit suicide too) and glad to be alive.
