I am straight- always have been and always will be- I love women in every way. Women always say, even on this forum, that it is totally normal and common for heterosexual women to have some fantasies about other women. My question is, how common is it for guys, even though everyone will say they never do, to have any kind of same sex thoughts or fantasies. Do straight guys ever in their lives look at non-straight porn; I've heard mutual masturbation is common although I've never done it and don't have a desire to. I've never really been attracted to anyone of the same sex but recently I came across shemale porn on the web and I got off to it a couple of times. I'm 20, btw. I have a girlfriend, sex is great, now I only watch straight or lesbian porn, but I was just wondering is it normal/common to have some same sex fantasies, or experience like this? Guys never admit to this kind of thing or talk about it- I don't want to talk to them about it either but is it weird or totally normal

I think it is completely normal. I saw this one thing on HBO about how there are a lot of men attracted to transsexuals. They talked about how it is taboo for our society to talk about it, and the many reasons why. The most interesting part about it though was that they did a test at a college...they gave out questionnaires to college males asking them questions about sex. They divided the questionnaire into 2 groups - homophobic men and guys who were OK. From there, they took both groups and put this thing around their penis that measured blood flow. Basically, when a man get aroused, the blood pumps more, and thus, he gets hard. After that, the made both groups watch different types of porn - hetero, lesbian, homo, and tranny. What was interesting about this was that the "homophobic" guys generally had more blood flow during the homo porn, compared to the not homophobic group. They even showed a guy who gave the OK for him to be filmed who was categorized as a homophobic male. Just goes to show that we need to all be true to ourselves and one day, a question like this would be clear.

Absolutely that's normal. Society has traditionally conditioned men to believe that letting themselves be attracted to other males is inappropriate, but that taboo is changing, and for the better. If these "completely straight" guys who say they have no interest in seeing other men were right, then they would only watch lesbian porn, which is obviously not the case. Heterosexual porn is just as much about the man as the woman. If you want to see men alone or men together as well, there's nothing wrong with that.

Well i see that the more you look at porn the more you desire to go further than you have ever gone before. It is not a normal thing for an male to think of another male when having sexual pleasures with a female. Unless of course he has been introduced to it through various ways like watching porn. You see porn is liberally progressive. You started with straight porn, then you looked into lesbian porn, now your are thinking bi porn, the more your mind sees and that is interesting to you, you will imagine to try. Not declaring it right or wrong but stating a fact that the more porn you watch the more liberal sexual acts you may want to pursue and do. This then muddies the waters of level headed thinking. Once you start thinking of Bi sex, it becomes normal like, lesbian sex is to your liking and normal. Once you get use to watching males on males, you may want to try it. Then the next step is finding other twisted interests like young boys or girls. Taboo sex like mother daughter or son and father sex. It just doesn't stop .... it just continues to grow an manifest itself. Here you are asking about male sex on porn. A few years ago you would never have thought of it. Think about it. It s a progressive thing. No judgment just reality.

Hey Chris.
No worries. Even if you looked at a guy or fantasized about one it doesn't make you 'gay'. Most humans fall somewhere along a scale from completely hetero to completely homo-sexual. So, to reiterate, having fantasies about other men occasionally, or even about a transexual does NOT make you 'abnormal' or 'gay' or anything. It makes you...uh...probably 'Normal'. When a man says he's 100% heterosexual, he's just falling into our western society's comfort zone if not being a pussie (no pun intended).

Being curious is not a crime. As you get older you will no doubt come across all types of people and sexual proclivities.

So, yes, it's normal for men to fantasize about other men occasionally, even the most hetero of men. Men are fascinated with penises (we spend a lot of time with our own don't we?) therefore are intrigued by the penis in general. Trannies. Wow, cute, slender young things (often) with breasts that look awesome AND they have cahks! Some men find it very compelling. Others think it's disgusting. You, find it however you want to.

Try not to be judgemental. Good luck.

Normal dude, guys do get off looking at other guys, hetero sex in porn is really popular, and guys are exposed to the porn male stars performing. Watch some gay male porn, and see if you get turned on. Most likely you will, as will most guys. Sex is sex, it is the moral taboos our religious upbringings provide that make us hide our inner desires and urges. Certainly the vast majority of guys will say they don't look at other guys and don't get turned on, but sit in a busy place and watch for a really hot looking guy--most guys around will covertly seek peeks at him. We are mammals, and we act still on instinct. Male mammals get together outside of mating season, and even hump each other. Natural leaders, usually the biggest and best looking, are followed by the others. Same way with man.

Don't panic your not abnormal. A lot of people have lot of real interesting fantasies, or things that turn them on. Most guys in their 20's don't talk about sex honestly, so don't worry if you haven't heard anyone mention that particular turn on. Look at it like this mabey you are just attracted to the concept of a very strong woman. Nothing wrong with that.

Honestly dude its not common for straight guys to have some of thoughts you have been thinking. however what is normal anyways? are homosexuals abnormal? are two girls and a guy?
my point is everyone one has there own lifestyle, preferences and fetishes. so what ever you are int aslongs as its not children or anything else ilegal then have at it. but be warned you could make many straight people uncomfortable if you bring it up so becareful who you mention it to unless the person is very open, understanding or in to a lot of kinky sh*t.

If guy ever do.. they, the vast would swear to their grave that they never did

women have the freedom of having this behavior being more socially exceptable

but it goes against everthing that society see's as being a man

they do say that everyone has homosexual fantacies at some point

and that it is completly normal

also actions don't determine your sexual orientation

so if you were to get drunk and hook up with someone of your own sex.. it dosent mean anything.. other then you hooked up

Very few men are 100% homosexual or heterosexual. There is a sliding scale first proposed by Kinsey, a sex researcher. Completely heterosexual would be a 0, and completely homosexual is a 6. Most men are 1.5 through to 5.5. It sounds like you are maybe a 2 or 3. Don't worry about it. See this for a full description: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kinsey_scale
