I figure that since that we got VH1 classic (which it's pretty good by the way) Why not MTV classic--I mean they both own by VIACOM.

Imagine this, You and your friends are at home watching shows like...
*Music Videos from 1981-2002
*Beavis and Butthead (Uncut)
*Liquid Television and other classic animated shows (Uncut)
*Yo! MTV Raps (Doctor Dre & Ed Lover/Fab 5 Freddy)
*Headbangers Ball (1987-1995)
*MTV's old school short films, on-air promos, station ID's and of course the classic "I WANT MY MTV" campaign.
*120 Minutes
*Remote Control
*MTV News (1981-2001)
*Club MTV
*MTV Unplugged
*The Real World and Road Rules (1990's Only)
*MTV Sports
*MTV Video Music Awards (1984-2002)
*Alternative Nation
*MTV Jams (1996-2000)
*Street Party (1989-1992)
*The Week In Rock (1987-1997)
*Dead at 21 (1994)
*My So-Called Life (1994-1995)
*MTV classic Spring Break (1986-2002)
*MTV Movie Awards (1992-2002)......you get the idea.

If you think that is a GOOD idea, please let me know. Thank you ^_^

Your idea rocks, but sadly MTV's not cool enough.

They only want to make money off of stupid conformists. They barely ever put music on MTV now anyway. Just a bunch of shows that couch potatoes and trend followers watch because they have nothing better to do or because they wanna fit in.

Modern music is worse than its even been right about now, we need a good channel that will support all the good stuff and give the finger to the Paris Hiltons and K-Feds of today. That idea could do it

MTV has change into too commercialised because the debut of the noughties. it really is not basically right down to them wanting to regulate, its them responding to the phenomenon of reality television shows and voyeurism (obsession with something sordid or sensational) and putting them on their very own channel. they're attempting to get more effective rankings from morons who're reality television addicts. all people is not basically in touch in track anymore, (this is why track sounds **** in recent times), yet those who're exhibitionists and make asses out of themselves. they're attempting to maintain up with the circumstances. in recent times all people can change into wide-spread (i.e. enormous brother), while not having any discernible skills. I accept as true with you that it has change into garbage. I do pass over previous school MTV as a track lover myself. the in uncomplicated words time it began playing track again in this decade change into even as Michael Jackson died. In England and eire, the position human beings have "sky", there are different track channels mutually with MTV classic and MTV rocks, because MTV itself received't play track anymore. Even VH1 sucks. i will't talk for us of a, because i do not understand what's the tale over there.

that would be really great, it would actually make me watch MTV. It's sad that music videos arent a priority anymore, i really miss the 90s with all the programs devoted to artists and music. I really do not care about "the real O.C" or who gets "dismissed", i just want music.

Yeah that is definately a good Idea. MTV doesn't even play videos anymore as much, it's all about boiling points, that stupid show with Nick Canoon, ect ect. They all suck.
