Here's a list of everything you will want to have checked:
Ignition switch
Starter Solenoid
Battery cables
Battery Terminals
Starter Motor
Clutch Sensor (Standard Only)
Brake Sensor (Standard Only)
Battery charge (BOTH VOLTS AND AMPS!!!)
Other than that there are a few noises you should check for:
1) When you turn the key do you hear a click coming from in front of the firewall (under the hood)?
If No, replace starter solenoid. If yes, move to next step
2) after the click does the starter motor engage (IE, do you hear a "whirring" sound, like and electric drill)
If No, Replace the Starter Motor, If yes, Proceed to next step.
3) Can you dear the engine turning over? Does it sound like it wants to start?
If no, consult a mechanic. If yes Consult a mechanic.
I suspect you will find that it's the Starter Solenoid.

To say it wont start is kind of like a vague word for us mechanics. You mean it wont turn over or it wont fire up? Assuming like you said about the battery not being the problem then iam gonna think it just wont fire up. Try checking the fuel pump relay or found out if you are getting spark to the plugs. It could be a # of things. But i would think that 3 months is not enough time to do any real harm to the car for it to just sit.

won't crank? is the security light flashing? it is more than likely the pass-key. does your key have a diode on the blade? if so there is a wiring harness that runs down the inside of the column and the wire is frayed. call a local locksmith and have him replace the ignition tumbler. or go to a reliable mechanic and have them diagnose the no start condition

You got some good advice here is couple they have missed.
If it won't turn over then bang on the solenoid while trying to start it with a hammer could be stuck from sitting.
Need alittle more info like was it running when you parked it? Does it crank?

does the engine turn over.......if so its either ignition or fuel problem.........reset on board comp. by disconnecting battery & discharging capicators by turning ign. switch to all positions.....reconect battery....turn ign. switch to on position...watch check/service engine soon light on your dash....if it blinks once your computer has data for you....if not try to start. if still no results you need diaognostic analyization. if your engine wont turn over & you can hear the starter engage you must determine if your engine is locked up....find the crankshaft pulley..determine the center bolt size..using a socket & breaker bar apply pressure in the direction of engine rotation....if you can move it your not locked up...if you cant..find a reliable mechanic.
