Pretty much what you know about video games, like what are the next gen consoles, what XBX games are compatible on the 360, can GBA games be played on the DS, etc. Stuff like that. You'd be surprised how many people who work in the video game department at Best Buy don't know the answers to those questions. Some guy sold a bunch of XBX games to a guy who was buying a 360, and he told the guy that the 360 was backward compatible so he can play those XBX games. Guy forgot to mention that only some XBX games are playable on the 360. Another guy told the customer that he needs to buy the Monster cables for the XBX if he has an HD TV. Total bull. Some fat idiot who worked at EBgames in the Cambridgeside Galleria in Boston, MA told me that Gundam for the PS3 was a great game. Little does he know. All the critics panned the game. He thought I was an idiot who didn't know what I was doing. I showed him.

Probably just what it says: Do you know about video games? Do you play them enough to help people make decisions about which ones are right for them? Do you know the different genres and gameplay styles? etc.
