I have been trying to find a part time job in the evenings for almost about a year. I have applied everywhere I can think of. Some places twice. I have made the necessary phone calls. I have a full time job during the day. I thought maybe it was my availability, but it seems weird that I wouldn't have something by now. I have had the same job for the past 6 1/2 years and just need something to supplement my income. I know that my present employer would give nothing but fantastic remarks about my work. I dont call off, i'm never late. I cant figure what the problem is. Is there anything that anyone could suggest. What am I doing wrong. I want to correct whatever it is that I am doing that is not getting me noticed.

How does your resume look? Professional? No misspellings, clean, easy to read, accurate dates and titles? Have you enclosed letters of recommendations from other employers? Do you always followup an interview with an email or thank you note sent the day after?
Have you read any tips on handling interview questions? Are you dressing up for the interview?

Hi Molly, I do interviews all of the time and I would love your enthusiasm and your following up. What kind of work are you looking for? I have a great career I do from my home with a leading benefits company. They are BBB members and offer 401k and benefits for your whole household. They also offer training.
