I am on a color guard team and we recently had some problems that caused us to have a very small budget. We have a performance soon doin a swing dancing routine to Zoot Suit Riot..any ideas on what we could wear for this performance?? Boys and Girls

The guys should be wearing formal suits or tuxes. I suggest that you make a 'bar' theme, as the song Zuit Suit Riot goes well with a 20's bar scene. You could either put the girls in some short dresses that match the men or try something like poodle skirts.

This is easy.
The girls: wear either a trumpet skirt (VERY easy to make at home) or wide legged sailor pants witha cute fitted white t-shirt. White/black oxford shoes w/white socks.
The guys: wear wide legged trousers/pants with button up shirts tucked in with suspenders and neckties. Black shoes with balck socks.

well i dont know if this helps... why dont you go find the movie "swing boys" which besides its cool but be prepared for drama... so... maybe you get ideas from it :) good luck
