I don't think David Tennant wants to give up the role just yet.
David is the Doctor in Season 3. Season 4 hasn't been given the go-ahead yet.

Hell no, I couldn't see him going to TV he's too hot an action star. If it's a movie than maybe but there is nothing like that listed for him anywhere.
