I'm one of those people who likes anything and everything BUT country (though, some country songs are really good). I just find it weird how some people like only one genre and stick to that for years. I mean, some people only like hip hop, some only like rock. My question is....why? I don't know but it's kind of confusing to me because they both sound good to me.

I know what you mean.... I like everything(except country) too. I don't get why people only like one genre.... I like a little bit of everything. Everything from rock to jazz to pop, hip-hop, and rap. I really don't get it either... I just like a song for what it is, and I really am not bonded to any specific genre or artist or anything. So, I guess that you aren't the only person like that :)

Metal is usually my prefered choice although I can listen to anything usually with Guitars I'm absolutely loving 'How To Save A Life' by the Fray at the minute. Though scroll through my iTunes you'll find all sorts including some Hip Hop and even the odd Dance tune \m/

Alternative for me and a bit of rock n roll and I also like some of the country songs that sound so much like pop. Though I think this will change once I get a bit older...by then I would probably go classical and all the soft stuff.

My favorites are punk rock, new age, and electronica
They make me feel like dancing
Besides that, I listen to a little of everything. I'm 13 and i listen to stuff that my friend's parents like. I like mainly rock, but i still like hip-hop, pop, jazz, folk, and those other genres if it's good.
In my opinion, if you like music, you respect and appreciate all of it.

well ya people have their opinions on what kind of music is better. I like rock but it doesn't mean i might not want to listen to something random.

my fav music genre's are: punk, punk pop, urban reggae, r'n'b is cool, the beats are different from anything else, and ska ie. Reel Big Fish, Operation, also new wave ie. Blondie...
