I would love to know if the actor who play his mother and father
are still alive !! I cannot date the programme !!

I love the show! Talk about a bunch of insane family memebers. I used to think Debra was the only sane one but she's kind of crazy too.
The dad Peter Boyle passed away in November I think but the mom, Doris Roberts is still working. Pretty sad that the show ended with issues about money. The actors all worked really well with each other.

The dad only recently died, the mum is still alive I think. It's a brilliant programme, I feel so sorry for the big brother.

The father just died recently. Doris Roberts is still alive, though. You can check her out in the movie Grandma's Boy.

marie barone played by doris roberts is still alive. frank barone played by peter boyle has passed away recently in december 06'. he was a really funny actor and will be missed

Great show. Everyone's answered correctly so far. Peter Boyle (Frank Ramano) passed away in December.
If you haven't seen the movie "Young Frankenstein", check it out. Peter Boyle plays "The Monster" and is simply wonderfull.

The mom is still alive
The show went off air about a year or two ago ( I cant really remember ). They've only been showing reruns for the last year.

the character who plays his father died recently.I think a month ago.i was so sad.but now they just showin reruns.i hope they dont put someone else as his dad,that will suck he was so funny to me!!!
