He can marry her, if he chooses to, his father is 2nd to succession and he has married twice. If Queen Elizabeth stays on the throne for many more years, Kate and William's children would be further away. If she is his soul mate and the love of his life, he should marry her. Historians agree that Prince Charles will probably not reign long, but Prince/King William will.

Why, why must he wait until the Queen's death to get married, and why must he marry Kate Middleton? And why must the queen die within the century or next century? Chances are she has 19-20 years left. I don't think William is ready for marriage nor will he marry Kate.

Britain is a free country and that also applies to the royal Family which means Prince William is free to marry whoever he chooses and that includes Kate Middleton

The Prince can marry when and whom he chooses. Of course he knows "his place" and will choose suitable, he was raised too. The queen CANNOT die only next century, she would be 180 years old! That is nonesense! Both Charles and William would be dead.

If The Queen survives until the next century, it will be a miracle

William will marry when he feels like it and the Queen will certainly be dead before the next century.

Prince William doesn't have to marry Kate. I read in the article he feels overwhelmed to marry but does not want to marry right now. He feels pressure by both his girlfriend and the media. He doesn't want them to dictate his decision
In any case, he can marry whomever he wants. Except a Catholic.

Prince William can marry whenever he wants. he doesn't have to wait for the death of his grandmother.
Likewise, no-one is forcing him to marry Kate Middleton.

What? And where did this idea that you can only marry after your grandmother dies come from?
The Queen will die this century. If not she'll be 174 at the start of the 22nd century.

He can marry when he wants - not sure about who he wants though. He's not going to marry someone who isn't well spoken, well educated and has no money; she has to be from a certain background - Kate Middleton fulfils all that criteria anyhow,
