The states are forbidden to levy teriffs on interstate commerce. They also can't coin or print money. They also cannot pass a law that contravenes a federal law (for example, they couldn't pass alaw that required everyone to attend the same church).

As for where in the Constitution these things are--get a copy and read it. :)

states can not print money, postage stamps, set states' rights that override the american constitution. remember that the us constitution is the law of the land. read the usa constitution. whatever is not mentioned directly within usually resides in states' rights. specifically mentioned? the law is black & white. off hand i can only think of three exact models, but then you could take it from there, right?

Ryan, try reading the Constitution. It won't hurt you, and I'd bet it's somewhere in that big, old textbook you haven't opened. Do your own homework.
