When I can't find the words, I just smile (or cry) whichever is appropriate. If the words won't come out right, they weren't meant to come out all.

Yep. But am past adolescence now so that does not happen quite as often as it did back then. Now I learned the value of keeping my mouth shut. Get a bit sidetracked though especially here in YA.

I am much better at expression my feelings on paper, so, yeah, that happens to me a lot. I sound sarcastic when I mean to sound sincere, things like that.
