Explain me where is the justice. Why the person who makes more money get to pay more taxes?! The services are equally shared among rich and poor. Nobody gets the service from the government better is he is paying more taxes. Than how higher taxes are justified? Why the person, who makes more money, supposed to pay for the services used by someone who pays fewer taxes?
Please do not bring the arguments of we all supposed to fight the poverty or help each other. This is not about justice; it’s about humanity. My question is about justice. Humanity issues are out of the border of this discussion.

Well in America the taxation system wobbles along and is relatively fair, but its not the greatest. The smartest idea is a FLAT TAX, where taxes don't vary constantly, but if our government put that in place they wouldnt profit so wildly from the mistakes made by citizens who file their taxes incorrectly. And that's the way it is whether we have Republicans OR Democrats in office. During Clintoons administration in 1997, the American public was OVERTAXED something like 30 Billion dollars and our government NEVER even flinched toward correcting the mistake.
Taxes have their place, but I have never heard of ANY goverment with a fair and balanced tax program. Canadians have something like HALF of their money snapped up by their government, but at what point is it not fair. In America the percentage is approaching 40 percent if not more already.
The answer is a FLAT TAX system.
As for rich and poor, I dont hate the rich, they take the risks to create businesses for people who wont or dont or cant and here in my country, if you're not lazy you have a chance at being rich. I would gladly pay more taxes if I was wealthy, because that would mean that Im generating more income.

The answer is simple...........If I only make 20,000 a year from my job.........then I can't aford to do much other than pay my bills to just live........
Now if I made $50,000. or more, than I can afford to buy what ever I want., I will have 2-3 charge cards with a high limit. And I just pay the minimum due. The more you make, the higher taxes you pay, The more you make, the more you spend(usually). Everything you buy you pay taxes on. Services are NOT equally shared among rich and poor......Not by a long shot.
If you are rich you get better treatment by where ever you go...Because you are going to give a big tip.....
Every State, except 7 or 8 of them, have to pay taxes on everything they do..........I pay 6% tax to my state on goods I buy.
That helps my state do road work, and many other things for us.
Payroll taxes that are paid are to the Federal government, and to the state you live..Federal monies are to keep it going for a thousand reasons.... .You can look it all up on the computer.
States that have no taxes paid to them, probably pay more for things they have to buy from soup to nuts.... Hope this helps.

Justice can be a matter of interpretation. Is it just that someone be desperately poor? If they had plenty, but went on drugs and lost it all? Then maybe yes. Or if they worked hard but their company shut down and they were laid off with 3 kids to support? Then no, not just.
Life isn't fair. I personally believe that the most "just" way to finance needed services is that people who are able to pay, do the paying. That's what our progressive tax system tries to do.
That said, do I think that the government spends far too much, and spends a lot on things they should stay out of? I SURE DO!!!

I believe that there should be something close to a flat tax rate. However, I do believe that the poor should be helped out: Spend more money on inner city education, so that we can get the poor better education so that they can, in turn, get better jobs and help to better the economy.

Those in higher tax brackets have more tax loopholes.
I know some people in the highest tax bracket who pay less taxes than people on welfare.
