Hi i couldnt tell you but i usually use the soap, exfoliator then the moisturieser i dont have a cleansing milk. But i guess you use the cleansing milk in place of the soap. As the soap is usually the cleanser but you wont need the soap if you have the cleaning milk. So i would use the milk in place of the soap one day a week.
I wouldnt use both the soap and the cleansing milk as it might dry your skin out with them both being a cleanser. The 3 steps are clense tone an moisturise. The cleanser is the soap, the exfoliator is the toner and the moisturiser is obviously the moisturiser. But if you are going to use the cleansing milk you will be cleansing twice.
If your still no sure check on what to do on the clinique website or email there customer service team or just pop into the store when you are out next.

Soap, milk then clarifying lotion.
Beware if you have delicate skin though - Clinique beauty products are not held in high regard in the industry, the clarifying lotion in particular is known for being extremely harsh. They clean the counters in it at the end of the day!
Just a warning.

According to clinique's website for the take off the day cleanser, it says to use the cleansing milk first to remove make-up then follow with their 3 step skin care program. That program is soap, toner and the moisturizer.

Take the day off is a make up remover so use that first, then the liquid soap as this removes dirt, oil and softens dead skin cells, then the clarifying lotion as this then removes the dead skin and prepares your skin for you moisturiser. (I used to work as a Clinique consultant) hope this helps!

use the soap first just basic clean, and the clarifying lotion is sort of deep cleaning, pure on cotton wool just wipe over your face but avoid your eye area. you will be surprised how come your face so dirty just after wash. good luck.
