Any of the jobs working from home that you see on the net are just the company's way of getting money from you to do nothing. Especially the survey sites and mystery shoppers. Someone is making a load of money there, and it's certainly not the workers.
If you are serious about working from home, I would recommend a home business with a low start-up cost. I have one that cost me just under $200 USD to get started, and I started earning an income on my 2nd day. This is a 12 year old debt free company that was just named the fastest growing company by the Direct Sellers Association. It is also in excellent standing with the BBB. When you purchase your business, you get a free website as well as full training, mentoring and all the tools you need to start earning an excellent income. My favorite part is the excellent product that I market because it proved itself to me and everyone I shared it with many times over. I find the product truly sells itself just by my sharing my story with others.
I will never go out into the work force again.

Paid surveys aren't really a job. You can earn about $20 a month. (Don't believe any site that says you can make $1,000s). That's only for a few hours work, but you're not likely to qualify for more than that on a consistant basis. That's enough for pizza, not enough to live on. I have some more info on that here:

If you go that route you will also want to check out tips to avoid scams here:

If you are artistic or witty and can use sites like www.cafepress.com or www.printfection.com...it takes a lot of work and time to get it going (expect at least 6 months before making a profit)--but I know people who actually make a living off that (me? not yet).
Affiliate programs are the same way...it takes a lot of time to build up a site and get people in.

I have found several legitimate work at home sites so far, and one of them made me $494+ in October, $700+ in November, and $838.57 in December. They are free to join.
Please click my screen name or avatar for more information and a link for proof of payment and lots of specific details.
I made some nice money at first, but once I found out these sites were legitimate, I started adding referrals and the money got a lot better. For every person you refer, you get 20% of what they earn on 2 of these sites. And for every person that one of your referrals refer, you get 10% on one site and 5% on the other. In time--this could be a great source of income--making money while other people are in a sense, working for you.
If you get 5 referrals who earn $20 a month, that is an extra $20 in your pocket. If you get 100 referrals earning $20 a month, that is an extra $400 you'll earn every month!!!
And by the way--never join a work at home program that wants you to pay up front. If they were making that much money, they wouldn't need to charge you.
Note: There are a lot of other sites listed too as well as the payout for each.

Well a while back i tried that whole online survey thing because it sounded really good, but it wasnt succesful. I paid like $35 to get a big list of web sites who will pay you to take their surveys and i signed up for probably 20 different ones. I got alot of surveys but NONE of them gave me actual money. I only got things like points and really stupid stuff i didnt need. There is probably a way to make money doing it, but i havent found it yet.

Yes, and I had to go through several before I found the right one. I don't have to stock or deliver, I just refer people to a great company and my efforts will last me a lifetime. Please see my profile since yahoo doesn't like for us to relay links. Good Luck!
