um... sometimes it changes colors. Before my period it is a brown color, but most of the time it is a clear color and when it dries it is a yellowish white color. It doesnt really have an odor... Oh yeah, and shouldn't there always be moisture in the vagina?

I think it depends on age. When I was teen, I always had discharges, but when I reached twenties, I only get it before my period. So if you are still teen, it is normal as long as it's not burning or itchy. But if you are in your twenties, it could be baterial infection. And also, Guys love to know that his girl is getting wet so Do not worry. It is natural.

Well... it sounds like perfectly normal vaginal discharge to me. Many women actually do have some sort of discharge every day, and the amount, texture, and color can change and fluctuate throughout your cycle. The brownish color just before your period sounds pretty normal too. The clear seems like it's around the time of your ovulation. Basically, it really does seem to me like your body is doing exactly what it's supposed to do!!! Please don't be grossed out by it... if you're not having thick, clumpy discharge with burning, itching, or smelling really stank or fishy, you're fine!!!

I am including a link for you to check out if you'd like to read it for yourself! :)

See your doctor! There's no way anyone call tell you if what you are experiencing is normal or not. You need to be examined by a physician and tested for infections, especially sexually transmitted ones. Vaginal discharge is the most common symptom overlooked by women who have STIs like Gonorrhea and Chlamydia.

You could have an over abundance of yeast in your system, especially if you eat alot of sugar and white breads. Do a yeast cleanse (you can by them at the health food stores). Some discharge is normal but it should be clear in colour.

If you are sore, itchy or irritated you could have a yeast infection and need treatment for that. You can buy a 3 day treatment at the drug store.

That's normal, awhile ago in class we had to watch a video about that stuff and it's completly normal. As long as it's yellowish and or whitish or brown it's fine. On the video it also said it said the yellowish stuff sometimes happens when you are aroused...so maybe that's why. I hope you figure out what's going on.!!

How weird?

You might just be the kind of girl that is very "wet" down there. You just can't get rid of that.

If it's a different color and it smells bad, go to your GYNO, you might have an infection.

Otherwise, it's perfectly normal.

A lot of girls are concerned about their discharge, but it is a normal and healthy part of your vagina, unfortunately society makes women feel bad or uncomfortable about these sorts of things so we have to find a way to make ourselves feel better about our bodies – as a side note until you can feel comfortable with your body and can learn more about it then it is not a good idea to get closer with your boyfriend.

You have nothing at all to be embarrassed or ashamed of, this is a normal, healthy and wonderful part of your anatomy, you should NEVER allow a guy to get close to you if you think he is going to have a problem with this as if he has a problem with basic female anatomy then he has a problem with you as a female.

When aroused you will get a lot wetter, this is a good thing and most guys know this is a good thing as it is one of the signs your body is getting ready for sex, that doesn't mean you have to have sex but it lets them know you like them.

If you have a problem with your body then it is like so many other things for girls and women, it is all negative body-image from constant messages that our bodies are not good enough or that our genitals are disgusting, they are not and it is up to you to fight those negative thoughts and learn to love your body – vagina and bodily fluids included.

Discharge serves two purposes;

1.Your vagina is self-cleaning, discharge is produced in order to flush out excess bacteria and dirt, and this is how your vagina protects itself from infections to keep itself healthy so you can have children when you are older if you want to. Your vagina is very good at looking after itself; this is why you only ever need to use water to clean yourself with, and your vaginas natural defences like discharge take care of the rest for you.

2.Your vaginal walls are made up of something called mucosa or mucus membrane, this is like skin but does not have the top layer like skin does to protect itself – this mucosa is similar to the 'skin' inside your nose, mouth and eyes. Discharge helps keep this mucosa from drying out and splitting, it also acts like the top layer of skin does for the skin, to protect it from nasty things getting in and causing infections.

You get discharge every day of your life, it is a very important part of your body and not something you can get rid of or would really want to get rid of.

Your discharge can change throughout your menstrual cycle, you will find for example less discharge on or after your period and more discharge about a week after your period – this is fertile quality cervical mucus, sort of stretchy and slippery like egg-whites, this is what helps sperm reach your egg when you are trying to have a baby.

You will also get more discharge when you are aroused; this is actually lubrication your vagina produces to help make penetration easier when you have sex.

You do get discharge when you are on your period too; it is just harder to see when you are on your period because there is less and because all you can really see is the menstrual blood.
Brown or pink coloured discharge is a sign of blood, so normal at the start or end of your period, you can also get this coloured discharge when you are fertile, or if you have some sort of infection.

As long as your discharge does not smell bad, have a funny colour or consistency then it is perfectly healthy, it is important you learn to recognise what your discharge is like at different times of your menstrual cycle so you know what is normal, and then if you spot an infection you can get it treated as soon as possible.

No, it's not normal to have a discharge all the time. Nope. You need to see your doctor. You could have a bacterial infection going on. If not treated, it could cause serious problems when you try to conceive.
