I'm not sure so dont quote me on this but traditionally every year he does this skiing holiday and the press turn out in droves and he poses with Harry and William and they do interviews.but he has been critisised heavily in the press recently for taking 20 aides on a a free flight to new york.so i guess he is just refusing to do the holiday as a protest

Don't know about saving the planet, but he is certainly saving his pocket. He reckons he is going on scheduled flights from now on, but i bet the general public wont be on them too. Sorry, i am just cynical when it comes to people in high places doing things to show face.
