Okay so I'm guessing that you are overseas for some reason and you are missing American fast food and the fast food over there is not that same or way too expensive. That is very interesting since it is so cheap here. Maybe that's why we are the size that we are. I'm not being insulting because I'm a big girl too and I unfortunately love fast food. Very interesting fact. I'm sorry that you can't get what you want where you are.

I lived in Austria for 18 months and as far as I know there were only 2 McDonalds -- one in Linz and one in Vienna. My friends and I would save up for weeks to travel there and get a Big Mac fries and a Coke. Back then (1987-88) the burger alone cost $7. I can't help you but I definitely feel your pain.

I'm American, but most fast-food makes me retreat as much as does an ice-cold toilet seat. Who knows what is in that McDonald's burger patty or how many grams of trans fat it has? The only fast-food that I can stand to eat is Sonic, Chick-Fil-A, Taco Bell, and the occasional Mandarin chicken salad from Wendy's.

Holy cow! You couldn't make enough money in 5 months for a big mac?! Talk about expensive... *note to self, don't go to Switzerland unless willing to become anorexic*

Where you been? Places like Wendy's, Arby's, Cracker Barrel etc. have heart healthy items. So does Applebee's. Just don't get anything deep fried. Salads, shrimp, fish ....check it out. Go to their web sites, you will find ratings for everything.

It's better for your body to go without fast food as long as you can.
My dad's addicted to burgers right now, but my mom and I would rather have home-baked chicken with beans, and veggie salad, which keep Cholesterol down.

If it's that unfair, go through a Mickey D's drive-through, get yourself a quarter pounder with cheese, and stop complaining!
