It is possible, your body communicates with itself pretty well and it may have been delayed... it is also possible that a cold can affect the effectiveness of the pill (if you are taking it) as well... although, if the cold is more recent it is unlikely that the dates add up for that to be the case...10 days late is long enough for a pretty accurate pregnancy test... it may be worth considering just to be sure.

I have come down with a cold myself and my period is also 2 weeks late. I don't really think this may effect it much, because there was many of times I was sick and still had a period. Maybe you should go see your doctor to be on the safe side....good luck!!

You certainly can be late with tiredness, stress and the fatique
a heavy cold can bring on... however 10 days is a little soon.
Give it 45 days and take a test...good luck which ever way
you want the outcome...

A cold and stress can delay your period, but you kinda threw me off guard with that whole "sexual activity" dealie. Good Luck :]

If you're a teenager your cycle may just be changing. I'm sure anything could affect the cycle. I had a stomach flu and didn't eat for three days last month, and it came early.

EVERY woman goes through changes in her period. Everyone. Your cold didn't cause it. Stress can play a part in it and not eating can do it, too. As long as you know you aren't pregnant....relax...it will start.

i would take a test if i were you. being ill can affect your periods but i would say a cold would be unlikely to.

yes, being sick can delay your period for a while. I am sick and I didn't get my period until 6 days latter. 10 is maybe pushing it.
