Girls have always gotten into fights with each other, but in the past it seems like they would usually fight with words, not fists. But now, you can look on youtube or any other video site and see girls kicking the sh*t out of each other. I have also seen it personally. I know some guys like to see two girls in a fist fight. They think it is sexy or something. But for me personally, I don't like to see two girls beat each other up. It just bothers me for some reason. Throughout history, men have always been in more physical fights than women. I think something is wrong with our society if girls get into fist fights as much as boys.

Anyway, do you think it is more common now than in the past? And how do you feel about girls getting into physical fights?

I think it is because bad behavior is more encouraged now days. For example, I can not be the only one disturbed by Barbie Dolls which are Bratz.......

The Jerry Springer kids have finally grown up.......

Uh, no.

I saw fights between girls more often than between guys in my 3 high schools (circa 1976-1980). Those schools included farm girls, small town hicks, hillbillies, and black girls. The "preppy" ones just seem to get catty, and after a few days of that, a good honest fight would've been welcome.

The guys, for the most part, would fight (or bluff), then it would be over. Breaking up a guy fight wasn't that dangerous, and the guys would be friends after it was done. The girls, on the other hand, don't know any boundaries, breaking up a girl fight is dangerous (they don't stop), and the b*tches don't know when to get over it.

For the records, we had drugs, alcohol, sex, fast cars, bad fashions, and Beavis and Butthead too. Some things never change -- my dad said that they had the same things in the 1950's too.

I do not think the incidence of girls fist fighting has gone up that significantly, at least not as significantly as the reporting/recording of said fisty cuffs. Everyone seems to have a recording device of some kind or another. I watched a so called fight between women on youtube. They were no better at it than fights between girls were 50 years ago. Perhaps a bit more inclined to fight, but more recorded than any other time in human history.

I don't think there is any particular trend here. Many of my female relatives (such as my mother and grandmother) tell me all kinds of stories about the fist fights and knife fights they were in as young girls. Some of my aunts still bear scars today. YouTube just hasn't been around that long.

And, yes, it bothers me deeply to see people fight. It proves nothing.

There's nothing wrong with this!
This is what the Libbers were all about!
We are equal!
We can raise just as much hell!
t's a tough world out there, and we take the bad with the good.
Maybe we should have stayed home.
I'm really not kidding.

Yes because the children today think all authority is a joke so they don't know any better. It all starts at home and value of ones self. That trait is non existant in some these days. This country needs prayer. This was sent to me yesterday. Just something to think about. Not saying whether I agree or disagree and not meant to offend anyone, just thought it was very interesting.
