Should they have rehired Tom Coughlin? And do you think Eli will ever be a consistent top flight QB?

I think that Eli can be a good QB. Tom Coughlin is a good coach. He helped the Jaguars find some success. The team is bad. It isn't the coach's fault.

a lil bit of both...i mean someone earlier was right the coach isn't a baby sitter...Eli has to step up and take responsibility to try and improve himself...if he does that he has a lot of potential...The Manning's have football in their blood. But also Coughlin should be retired...he obviously is getting TOO old to see correctly. I mean Plaxico Burress can make Good Big plays but he just has to be controlled and keep his temper. Eli needs a better QB coach that will work with him to show him what he needs to do to improve. No one QB knows how to do everything. COughlin should go back home to his grandchildren (if he has any) and take care of them and leave the Giants so they can get some refreshed talent out there to improve the record. i mean look with an old hag like Coughlin and they can make it to the first round of playoffs then imagine what they can do if they get younger better talent as the head coach. The giants might just be playing a NFC title game very soon...and Eli can get his own Super Bowl ring just like his brother is gonna do this year. Eli is a young QB and too early to say that he isn't good. Only been in the league for 3 seasons and 2 as a starter and look what he has done already...no matter what anyone says i think that Eli has a long way to go......always will love the Giants

they should have gotten rid of coughlin and hired somebody else and as for eli manning ahhh i don't think so not that he's gonna suck or anything but i don't know about him being a top flight quarterback by no stretch of the imagination is he as good as his brother peyton that's for sure

Yes- for one more year so that they can get Bill Cowher next year. Because most coaching vacancies have been filled this year.
For Eli, he can be good if he gets a quaterback coach in NY.

i'm a giants fan and i'm depressed cause our team sucks....eli is ok i guess.....but our defense will suck soon i think
