So many dry cleaning companies and launderers throw away used metal hangers. It would cost too much for them to sort them out and re-use them. Often times, they don't even recycle them. They just throw the hangers into the trash. Instead of creating such waste, what do you suggest can be done with used metal hangers?

colect them and go to a recycling place and see if they take them and if not ask them if they know a place that does i have gotten 150 bucks on all kinds of meatals just a little extra cash

This is a bad joke. Hang one on each car so thieves won't have to break your window.

In reality, they should be recycled. Any scrap yard would be more than glad to get them, plus if you have quite a few pounds you could get money for them.

They rust too easily. They are handy to open your car when you leave your keys locked inside. Can be used to clear blocked drains. Apart from that - nothing...............
