the texas court system was rudimentary when they became a state in 1826(?). there wasn't a supreme court in texas until much later. check a good texas history book in govt. i am not certain of the state's entry into the union but i believe it was 1826. 1826 (circa)? that would make it andrew jackson. know what? want concrete answers? the encyclopedia , like a crystal ball, answers all but unlike a crystal ball, it answers all accurately. good luck & use some elbow grease!
