Hi, I cant seem to download drivers, programs or software from the internet. When I go the companies webite and click download, the open/save window comes up, but no percentage of it is transferring and it remains static. I have tried open and save but nothing works. Any ideas why this may be happening

by the sounds of it your download operation in internet explorer has been stopped for some reason so instead of using that why not use a dedicated download manager
download gigaget download manager from http://www.download.com/Gigaget-Download-Manager/3640-2071_4-10503295.html,this is similar to the normal download operation in windows but is much faster as it searches for other download locations and then joins them together to increase the download speed sometimes by up to 100%
note:downloads are saved in to a folder in c:drive called tddownload and can be seperated into catogerys
as with some download managers this software dosent come with any adware or spyware,if it did i would,nt use it
let me know what you think
good luck

If you have a router (wireless or wired), it'll have a hardware firewall in. In this instance you'll need to change your hardware firewall settings/

Have you tried doing this using a different browser, such as Firefox?
