It's sick. Most people dont realize this is called PENILE REDUCTION SURGERY because they take away a large portion of material and SIZE! Nerves gone forever. Sensitivity gone forever. Studies show that circumsized men are more violent and prone to obesity too. Sad, all around. Too bad in the US it's normal but NOWHERE ELSE ON EARTH is this practiced.

I do think this video was disgusting. But, in defense of circumcision some people do this for religious reasons and circumcision keeps bacteria from getting trapped in the foreskin. Basically its easier to keep it clean and healthy. Also, this video is very old. I would be interested in seeing a more recent one. I would be inclined to believe the practice has changed over the years. If I have a boy I will circumcise him. Could you imaging doing this as a grown adult! Not remembering the procedure is a blessing. My father-in-law (in his 50's) just had his penis circumcised. I guess it was very painful for him and the healing took quite awhile, but everything turned out ok.

I know.. but coming from a persom who works in a nursing home...it is alot easier to care for a circummsized penis than a non circumsized penis. I see MANY infections that are far more painful and they remember it at this age.... As newborns the memory isnt there. I watched the video and cringed myself, but any male children I have will be circumsized due to health concerns later on.

My boys had a topical anesthetic before their circumcisions. Yes, they screamed about having to be held down. And, no, USA is not the "only country" this is done is.
I know of grown men who had to have it done, and they said they wished their parents had had it done when they were babies.
I've seen my friend clean and clean her son's penis trying to get all the sand out after he played in a sand box. How frustrating.

Oh my God!!!! It is disgusting, poor child, I am mad at the father that was there going on with everything and letting the doctor hurt his child in a savage way!
For something that is not life threatening and it is not even a disease.
What an insecure and selfish parents!!

This is NOT how it is done. My son had his done at 2 weeks and my husband stayed in the room, they numb it and my son never even cried. How it was done to that baby is just WRONG. TO ALL PARENT OR FUTURE PARENTS: Even though you may not want to be, ask to be in the room or have your husband be in there. That way you can see for yourself what they do and that it is not how some people are saying it is.

ok i was in there when both of my son's had their circumcisions and this is NOT how it was done. completely the opposite. i do not know where this is from but it is not from here i don't believe. probably some other country that does not have the kind of stuff that we do here. so sorry don't believe this one! holly

Oh my god. Oh my god. seeing this is definately cruel.
BUT, circumsizing can be done with freezing? that was like having a tooth pulled without novocaine.
That was terrible. I feel so sad for that poor baby. If this is being done like this...it is against human rights. thank you for bringing it to my attention.
