It depends on how you learn. There are tests to determine whether you learn by seeing, hearing, or feeling. If by seeing, read, read, READ. If by hearing, record yourself and play it back. If by feeling...good luck!

hi,
first of all i dont think memorising is the best way of revising. I mean it will get you your marks, but sometimes even you dont understand what you've memorised. Im not saying you're like this. Im just suggesting that you try your best to 'learn' and 'understand' the text, in a way that it seems ordinary and logical to you. This way you 'know' whats going on, rather than having to search your memory for similar phrases to answer the question.
If you dont like this method, you could try memorising in 30 mins ith 5 min breaks. Always sleep well, not too much (11 hrs+) and not too little (6 hrs-). If your hungry, eat something though not too much. Try to be in a quite and peaceful place (maybe the library), and recent experiments show that sitting on a green table while studying helps with memorising etc.
Anyway try your best to follow method 1... hope i have been of help...
bye

Memorizing only helps for some things. Studying differs by subject area. For example, you can improve your math by practicing, you can improve your French or Spanish by using flashcards with English on the other side, you can study Biology by drawing and labeling diagrams and making brief notes.
Another things you need to do is slow down and focus. The way you have written your question is a perfect example..... it does not make sense and is not clearly written. As a teacher, i think I know what you are asking, but you need to be more focused.

What I do is this:
1)I eat fish before studying(most effective:sardines)
2) Read notes over and over again
3)If this doesn't work, think of something funny for each thing on the notes. It helps me memorize things.

say the phrase or word and make up something funny or interesting about of concerning the phrase. Like I did for sci. we had to memorize some of the bones in our body and for femur I thought FEMA, it helped me! I hope it helps you at least a little.
