As some one who used to get followed a lot by men, I started dressing more casual because I didn't want to attract attention. I even lost weight because I got tired of being followed all the time. A woman doesn't have to be insecure to not want unwanted attention or have low self esteem. Their are a a lot of men perverted or otherwise who think its okay to follow a woman. However, I don't feel flattered by it I feel uncomfortable. Also when I was in school boys would act the same way or worse, so I definitely didn't want them to see my figure. I still get hit on even if I am wearing sweat pants, cap and barely any makeup - such is life.

If u have ever watched tv women, alot of women with nice figures still think they look fat or just don't think they look good so they don't where tight sexy clothes. Also the baggy clothes are cumfy

Well, just because you have a nice figure, doesn't mean YOU think so. Or, it could be something different. Before I had breast augmentation I always had a really nice figure. I mean, I worked out constantly and was thin, toned, and tan, but I never really felt feminine enough to wear tighter clothing because I had small breasts. One thing that you lack confidence in can really throw off your mood about your whole body. And some girls just don't like to show themselves off. Yeah it feels good to be "checked out" but it gets damn old when guys are ogling you; it's REALLY annoying when they say things like "damn" or something rude or inappropriate like that. NO MANNERS!

ah yes....women and men have a total different sense of what's cute and trendy. My boyfriend did comment he hates those empire waist summer dresses and last summer, women were going crazy buying them. To women those are adorable and cute...to men, they look like a girl is pregnant and they sure dont' want to see that. Men don't really notice Jimmy Choos or Stuart Weitzman shoes but women do notice. Some women dress for men some other dress to impress other women.

when they arent trying to look perfect and want the comfort. i love the baggy combats they look great i wear them nearly as much as i wear skirts and jeans now. maybe some just prefer baggy clothes. i prefer tight tops with tight jeans/skirt or combats but everyone is different.

It is an emotional thing. They probably do not think that they have a good body....I just had gastric bypass and I am getting thinner and thinner all of the time. I STILL do not think of myself as thin! ( although I guess I really am!)
