just got married..... but hubby has a year to do in japan...... with all the sex we had before he left.... kinda wondering what he'll do over there.

he's 41. 20 year veteran. i make more money in the states. would love to go but will have to start over here in the US. plan to visit at the 6 month mark.

He'll likely be more worried about you.
I live in Norfolk VA. There are THOUSANDS of navy wives here. They are CONSTANTLY out at the bars in large groups, getting hammered and having flings. Look on craigslist and you'll find navy wives every single day.
DON'T go out and get drunk. This is the biggest thing.
As for him, tell him what you expect for behavior from him. Not in an accusatory way, but in a sweet way. Tell him you will live up to the same standard and you're gonna do him so good when he comes back.
No chance you can go visit him at some point?

Any man "could" cheat, at any time. Some cheat when they have a wife to go home to every night. What makes someone cheat, i don't know. Military is a hard life, all the seperations, i am an Army wife. In 4 years ive been with my husband 2 of them. It takes a ton of trust...but if you DO in fact trust him, i wouldn't worry. Unless he has cheated before, or gives you reason to doubt him, im sure he will be faithful. Trust him until he gives you reason not to.

I live outside the gates of an Air Force base and have several married friends who have been deployed overseas. None of them have been faithful. A year without sex for a young healthy male just isn't going to happen.
It will be just too easy to get away with. I am sure he will try to do the right thing but I doubt it will happen.

WELL WHO KNOWS !! I remember my father's stories about Japanese women, so I surely inferred from those conversations that he had that experience while away from my mother. But everyone is different it all depends on the "memories" and his dedication.
If you are the jealous type or have such concerns, you should have waited until he returned to get married. Since you did not, then just don't go there.

Maybe or maybe not but why think about it. Your already judging a man who married you. So if you were worried about it why did you marry him? IN marriage one thing to make it long and happy is trust and communication. So communicate with him alot and trust him. Want a friend to chat with e-mail or IM me anytime.

just trust him.. If he is like most the other Military guys he dont want those gurls he wants what he has at home.. An he probly wont have time to think about Sex all that much with all the work he will be doin

I would think he'll be faithful. Contrary to popular belief, most married military personnel are faithful to thier spouses.

i was in the army. and most the married guys kept it in there pants. there were a small few that would say what happens on deployment stays on deployment. so i dont know what else i can tell you. i know when i was married and deployed i kept it in my pants.
