This should be in the dog section. You'd get a better response. I have a 6yo Boston Terrier. She loves her "cousin" who is a Westhighland Terrier. They get along great. But they don't live together. I don't think it would be a problem. They can lay down right next to each other and go to sleep.

Hi,Druscilla. You need to introduce them carefully and make sure that both dogs have got a safe place to go to away from each other. Make sure the puppy isn't too much "in the face" of the other dog but also make sure that the older dog doesn't get too rough with the puppy. Don't leave them together when you are not there until you are absolutely certain that they get on. I got a child's gate and fixed in the doorway between my lounge and kitchen so that I could leave my two - one in each room - which meant they could see each other but could not get on each other's nerves. If you are sensible and take things slowly you shouldn't have a problem. By the way get one or both neutered. Good luck.
