I'm thinking of getting an xbox 360, but do i need to get an LCD widescreen tv to get experience the best of the xbox 360 graphics? I've seen in the london virigin megastore games room, the 360 consoles are all hooked up to a samsung LCD screen and the games do look amazing. Is this the best screen to get? Or will xbox 360 games look just as good as on a normal tv?

I have a 26 inch high definition samsung tv and it looks much better than the standard lcd tv I used previously. Most of the games for the 360 show a marked improvement when played on a high def tv. I've noticed a big difference, especially when playing Gears of war or Dead rising.

And if you do decide to go high def I'd recommend you get a vga cable. It's not included in any console package, it has to be bought separately, but it does improve the resolution further.

I have a 5 year old 32'' tv (completely normal) and the graphics look amazing still when I play my 360.
p.s. dont listen to those other people, I actually have a xbox 360 and the picture looks great.

no, not LCD. u just need a high definition TV. it doesent matter if its LCD or not, but LCD makes the picture a little more clear. and widescreen is better than normal screen. and u wont get the same picture on a normal tv than a HDTV widescreen.

you will see a huge difference if you play your 360 through a hd LCD tv .iv got a samsung hd tv .excellent well worth the money,shows xbox graphics at its best.

Games will look roughly the same on a normal tele and an LCD tele but HD would be the best. I have a normal 28inch TV and the games still look incredible. so dont worry about it.

i think itd be the same with or without LCD, mayb u cud adjust birghtness better, thats all
the real difference is if u get HD
