normally when you get a box, it will tell you exactly how to apply them. after you put the glue on, try to line them up with your own eyelashes as good as you can. some kinds look cheap and weird, but others dont. some really good fake eyelashes can be found at a sally's beauty supply or other stuff like that. try going to sephora and click on makeup under the word SEPHORA. after that, click on eyes (you will find 'eyes' on the left side of the page) then click on the false eyelashes

In answer to your question. Yes, you have to take them off and reapply. They do look fake but when you are out at a club they are a great fashion accessory. You can do it your self but it takes some practice. They only look clumpy it your mascara is applied improperly. They are held on with latex. You apply a thin bead to the edge of the lashes. They are applied by hand or with an applicator. I can never get the applicator to work right for me though.

I've worn false single eyelashes on many occassions and no one ever implied that they knew or said anything negative. On the contrary, I've only received compliments. On my wedding day, I wore them and my wedding photos are beautiful and you cannot tell!!! The single ones are definately the best, and pratice is essential if you want to look natural. Use tweezers and only do one at first to see if you react to the glue. Put the single ones into your lash line - or as close to it as you can get. After you put them on and the glue sets, put on a coat of mascara like you normally would. If you put them on a clean eyelid and you use a very gentle skin cleanser (like Cetaphyl sensitive) you can wear them for several days - or even weeks, but I like to rub a washcloth over my face, which will make them come off. Anyway, beauty is what makes you feel good - so try it and if you like it, then that's all that matters. Good luck!

it depends on the occassion. Fake eye lashes can tend to look a bit too dressy from day-to-day situations and u must be careful because the glue u use to apply them can give u rashes if u apply them regularly. Get a goood volume boosting mascara Maybelline has good quality ones. I think real eyelashes look (of course) more natural and you dont need to worry that they're gonna hurt u or one of them is gonna drop off when ur at a party or somethin.

I love them and just like hair extensions have become more popular, I think false eyelashes are being brought back.
I tried the permanent eyelashes that required touch ups every 2mos. and they looked great but my eyelashes are so thin that they broke and now I'm sticking to false eyelashes that i take every night until my own grow back to normal size. After that I will wear falsies for certain occassion but I absolutely fell in love with Rimmel- Magnif'eyes mascara when I was in the UK last year. I think I will mostly just use that from now on

I used to wear fake lashes when I used to club. They were great they gave my eyes alot of intensity and did not have to worry about taking off my mascara at the end of the night(you just pull the fakies off it was great). BUT you have to practice because they can fall off your eyes and you do not want to look like a caterpillar is crawling around your eyes. When I first started using them it was a pain but like I said practice makes perfect. I applied the glue(lightly) to the lashes(holding them with a tweezer) then I would bend it a little since our eye area is curvy(learned from the MAC department)and applied it on the lid and pressed down with a Q-tip. Close your eye for a few seconds to dry and voila! Practice with different lashes too because I found that the thicker lashes looked better on me. Good luck!

It all depends on the kind of lashes you buy and for what occasion. I usually wear them when I have dance competitions and mine don't look fake... just like I have gorgeous lashes. You do not want to wear them overnight though. Also make sure that you are not allergic to the glue that is used to put them on because this happened to a friend of mine and let me tell you, the last place you want a rash is your eyelid.

At some African American beauty supply stores they have single lash glue on eyelashes ( I mean 1 hair at a time). They are so easy to use and look more natural than "strip" lashes.Don't cost much and are made of human hair.Try them! I always get compliments on my eyes!

i think that fake eyelashes can look very skanky and extremely unnatural. all exotic dancers in las vegas wear them. they are too dramatic for a daytime look... but if you are going to be performing in a show, they are good for stage-makeup because they define your eyes while your on stage and the lighting is different. Otherwise, if you want to purchase them for an everyday look, I wouldn't go there. Just use a volumizing mascara instead.

Fake eyelashes look gross even if applied correctly in my opinion. If you want bigger eyelashes, use an eyelash lengthening 2 in one mascara. fake eyelashes can also cause problems for your eyes like swelling if not applied correctly
