which book should I get?

I am returning a book called "stand up comedy-the book"by judy bloom and getting "the comedy bible" by the same author but it has tips on how to get into comedy,etc.

I never read it, but i know my dad really liked it, and it sounds like it's in the same vein as what you're reading.
