Yes, my parents got a dachsund named Chi-Chi when I was very small. When I was about 5, she had puppies and we got to keep one that I named Duchess, which I felt was my own real first pet.
Chi-Chi died and Duchess had puppies, I got to keep one and named her Princess. Princess had puppies and my sister that had just gotten married kept. His name was Hector. That was the end of the line for our dachsunds though.
We had four generations of dachsunds in our family. My sister ended though when poor little Hector got neutered. I will never forget any of them. They were all very special.

My first pet was a turtle my dtep-brother had found near the sea.It looked innocent so he took it home.His name was Robby.

Hi there...my first pet was two parakeets when I was 2 years old. I kept always changing their names so I don't remember what I decided upon. However, my next first pet wasa cat was named Wong-dye (Chinese for King/Emperor).

i had 3 first pets actually(when i was born my parents already had a few pets..)
all three were dogs, and their names were molly, carrie and scruffy<3 scruffy was the last to die, just last year.
but ive had other pets besides them. ive had 2 cats, some fish, frogs/toads, 2 bunnies. i also had another dog who lived to be 17 around the time i had those first 3, but shes dead.
right now though i have a goat and 2-soon to be 3 dogs (as of tom.) we are adopting another dog tomorrow. i just love animals!

I was in first grade and cried for a cat after seeing "Lady and the Tramp." Natually, I picked a Siamese cat at the pet store. I named her Minx after a cat in my first grade reading book. Minx needed a buddy, so we adopted our second Siamese from a private home and named her Jinx!

My very first pet was a glodfish but I don't rember it's name because I was 3 at the time!

yeah i do it was two baby parakeet that were soo adorable. they were hand fed too they would always want to spend time with u and were expert excape artist they would lift the cage door and crawl out to find some one to play with. we had to lock the doors shut on the cage to keep them in while i was in school. they always stick together to they never wanted to leave eachother's side. where ever one when the other followed they would climb on ur shoulder and stay there happy just to be with u.and when u keep them on ur tummy and stroke the back they would drift to sleep they were a wonder ful pet and i will never forget them

My first pet was Jo-Jo she was very sweet and kind but she got blind and then she past away.I grew up with her.Now I have a bird named Alfa a dog named Angel and eight fish in all.

my first pet was a lil dog named may may. she was a lil terrier mix. got her from the pound when i was 10. when i was in high school, one weekend my family and i were at a horse show and i came back earliy and someone stole her out of our back yard. it was a week before christmas.
