If I were adding on more memory to my computer how far would 250 MB carry me? Could I download WarCraft with that amount or store my whole iTunes library on that?

First off I think you are confusing RAM capacity with Hard drive capacity. You dont store or download to RAM you do that to the hard drive and at 250MB thats gotta be ram.. I dont think they make drives that small anymore and havent for quite sometime.

Ram to be overly simplistic.. is where stuff goes temporarily to and from the processing unit as it is working. Hard drives are where you "store" programmes RAM (and the CPU) is where it does its work.

GB's (gigabytes) is larger than MB's (megabytes) in anyevent on anything.

If you are talking about ram the more the better and if you are talking about hard drive then no question you need GB's because 1024 mb go into 1 gb.

there are 1000 mb in one gb but 250 mb could hold about 125 songs but its probaly not enough for warcraft

This is a dumb question & the answers above are even dumber…
You don’t\cant install programs, movies, games, music of any kind on your installed physical memory.

To play the mentioned game you would need a total of 512MB MINIMUM of physical memory installed, a CPU at least 1.8GHz, a good graphic card, nothing less than a 6 series and of course the free hard drive space required to install it.

No! you can not play WoW with only 250MB RAM. you need at least 512MB to play it, though it recommends 1GB (1024MB). As for iTunes RAM doesn't play a big role with that. for iTunes, 250MB of RAM is acceptable. if you want to store music hard drive space plays a bigger role than RAM.
